Last updated: July 2026 These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Roots of Salone Ltd website, and your engagement with our commercial services, including regenerative agriculture projects, founding partner programmes, ESG reporting, land management, and any future services we provide. By accessing our website or entering into a commercial relationship with Roots of Salone Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”), you agree to these Terms.

We operate regenerative agriculture projects in Sierra Leone and provide impact reporting and sustainability‑aligned services to partner organisations.

2. Scope of These Terms

These Terms apply to:

  • Use of our website and digital platforms

  • Participation in our founding partner programme

  • Engagement with any regenerative agriculture or land‑based projects

  • Use of our impact reporting, ESG/CSR documentation, and communication assets

  • Any consulting or advisory services we may provide

  • Any future services offered by Roots of Salone Ltd

 

Where a separate written agreement exists (e.g., Partnership Agreement), that agreement takes precedence for commercial terms. These Terms apply alongside it.

3. Use of Our Website

You agree to use our website responsibly and not to:

  • engage in unlawful or harmful activity

  • attempt to access restricted areas or systems

  • upload malicious code or interfere with site functionality

  • misuse content, trademarks, or intellectual property

 

We may update or modify the website at any time.

4. Commercial Services

When you engage with Roots of Salone’s services, including the founding partner programme, you agree to:

  • provide accurate company and contact information

  • make payments in accordance with agreed terms

  • use impact assets responsibly and ethically

  • avoid misrepresentation of project outcomes

  • comply with any additional written agreements

 

Roots of Salone will deliver services with reasonable care, skill, and transparency.

5. Pricing & Payment

Unless otherwise stated:

  • All fees are expressed as £12,000 + VAT (if applicable) for the founding partner programme

  • VAT will be added if Roots of Salone Ltd becomes VAT‑registered

  • Invoices are payable within 30 days

  • Payments must be made to our designated business account

 

We reserve the right to adjust pricing for future services or renewals.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, reports, photos, videos, and materials produced by Roots of Salone remain our intellectual property.

Partners receive a non‑exclusive, royalty‑free licence to use impact assets for sustainability communications, subject to:

​

  • ethical usage

  • no misrepresentation

  • no resale or redistribution outside agreed purposes

7. Project Delivery & Limitations

Roots of Salone will deliver regenerative agriculture projects with reasonable care and skill.

However, certain factors are outside our control, including:

​

  • weather conditions

  • political or regulatory changes

  • land access issues

  • environmental disruptions

 

We will communicate transparently and take reasonable steps to mitigate issues. Liability is capped at the value of the fees paid.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate a commercial relationship with 30 days’ written notice.

If a project is terminated early:

​

  • Roots of Salone will provide a final update

  • No refunds are provided once land preparation has begun

  • Any outstanding invoices remain payable

 

Website access may be terminated immediately for misuse.

9. Data Protection

We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and UK GDPR. By using our services, you consent to necessary data processing for:

  • partnership administration

  • reporting

  • communication

  • compliance

10. Third‑Party Services

We may use third‑party providers for:

We are not responsible for third‑party failures but choose providers with strong security standards.
